Incorporation ofN-propanoylneuraminic acid in PC12 cells. PC12 cells were incubated in the presence of ManNProp for different time periods. Incorporated N-propanoylneuraminc acid (Neu5Prop) was quantified by HPLC analysis and compared with physiological sialic acid (Neu5Ac).
